PERSONALIZED HORMONE CARE FOR WOMEN
Perimenopause & Menopause Care
Asclepian ARC provides individualized perimenopause and menopause care from Bluffton, South Carolina, serving patients in South Carolina and Georgia with thoughtful evaluation, hormone optimization when appropriate, and treatment plans focused on both how you feel now and your long-term health.

YOUR SYMPTOMS ARE VALID
Menopause Is Real
Perimenopause and menopause are real.
They are not “just stress.” They are not “just getting older.” And they are not something women should simply be expected to push through without support.
Many women begin noticing changes in sleep, energy, temperature regulation, mood, libido, motivation, body composition, mental clarity, and recovery long before they are ever told they are in menopause. Others are told what they are experiencing is normal, but that does not make it easy — and it does not mean nothing can be done.
At Asclepian ARC, these changes are taken seriously.

YOUR FUTURE HEALTH STARTS NOW
Longer-Term Health Impact
The effects can also be quieter and more long-term.
The menopause transition is associated with increased bone loss and higher future osteoporosis risk, and cardiovascular and metabolic risks also rise after menopause as estrogen declines.
That is one reason menopause care should never be reduced to “just dealing with symptoms.”

A PROVIDER WHO GETS IT
A Better Answer Than
“This Is Just That Time of Life”
One of the reasons I care so deeply about menopause care is that I have seen firsthand how disruptive it can be.
I watched my wife move unexpectedly and rapidly into perimenopause and then menopause. I saw how much it affected her sleep, energy, motivation, comfort, and overall quality of life. Like many women, she was essentially being told that this was just a normal stage of life and something she simply had to live with.
I knew there had to be a better answer than that.
That experience reinforced what I already believed as a clinician: women deserve to be heard, taken seriously, and offered better answers than “this is just part of getting older.”
My goal is to provide menopause care that is thoughtful, individualized, educational, and grounded in both clinical evidence and real understanding of how much these changes can affect daily life and long-term health.
BUILT AROUND YOU
How We Approach Menopause Care
At Asclepian ARC, menopause care is not one-size-fits-all.
I do not prescribe just to prescribe. I want patients to understand why a treatment plan is being recommended, what it is intended to improve, and how it may need to be adjusted over time.
Every treatment plan is individually created and adjusted as needed based on symptoms, lab review, goals, risk factors, clinical history, and response to care.
Menopause Care May Include Support For
-
Hormone optimization when appropriate
-
Sleep and recovery concerns
-
Libido and sexual-health changes
-
Metabolic changes and body-composition shifts
-
Thyroid and related hormonal contributors
-
Long-term bone, cardiovascular, & metabolic health awareness

Evaluation at Asclepian ARC
Good menopause care starts with listening and proper evaluation.

Asclepian ARC’s clinical model for women’s hormone care includes a broader review of symptoms, medical history, and hormone and metabolic markers rather than relying only on one complaint or one lab value.
Depending on the clinical picture, evaluation may include symptom review, hormone and metabolic lab review, thyroid review, body composition tracking, discussion of sleep, libido, cognition, mood, and energy, and long-term risk awareness related to bone and cardiovascular health.
The purpose is to understand the whole picture, not just treat one symptom at a time.

CARE BUILT AROUND THE INDIVIDUAL
Why Women Choose Us for Hormone Therapy
Women often come to Asclepian ARC because they are tired of feeling dismissed.
They want a provider who will listen, a clearer explanation of what may be happening, care that takes symptoms seriously, a treatment plan that makes sense for them, support that goes beyond “wait it out,” and a more individualized and thoughtful approach to quality of life.

Many women also want to know that they are working with someone who truly understands how disruptive this stage of life can be. That matters, and it is something I do not take lightly.
FUNCTION. ENERGY. CONFIDENCE.
Quality of Life Matters
I do not believe women should be told to simply accept poor sleep, loss of motivation, reduced libido, hot flashes, night sweats, body-composition changes, or feeling unlike themselves as the unavoidable cost of getting older.
Quality of life matters.
When hormones shift, the effects are often felt in how a woman sleeps, thinks, moves, feels, relates, and functions. And because menopause can also influence bone health, cardiovascular health, and metabolic health over time, good care should look at both the symptoms you feel and the health patterns developing underneath them.
The goal is not simply symptom management. The goal is helping women feel stronger, healthier, more functional, and more supported through this transition.

IS ASCLEPIAN ARC RIGHT FOR YOU?
Who May Be a Good Candidate
Women experiencing sleep disruption, hot flashes or night sweats, fatigue, low libido, mood changes, or brain fog may be a good candidate for care at Asclepian ARC. The same is true for women noticing body-composition changes or simply a sense that they no longer feel like themselves.
